Without a doubt the cutest pair of secateurs in the range! A lovely wee tool for budding young gardeners or as a second pair to help with all those jobs that your main pair are just a little too cumbersome to carry out.
Japanese tools are unquestionably some of the best in the world, they’re so robust, so visually appealing and so capable of carrying out the job they were designed for it’s almost unfair on the rest of us! These shears are genuinely great, the feel excellent in the hand and they will carry out the job they were designed for for years to come, as long as they are looked after!
Carbon steel is a superb material for edged tools but it needs care, it cannot be left wet or it will rust (and we really don’t want that!), so just make sure you thoroughly dry your tools after use to avoid any upsetting issues. It is also perfectly normal for carbon steel garden tools to develop patina with use, this is part of their charm and is your pair developing their own personality!
To keep them in as good a condition as possible we recommend regular removal of sap and dirt with something like our “Crean Mate” and sharpening with the “Suwada sharpening bar” or send them in to us and we’ll sharpen them for you!
Compatible with Suwada Secateur holster.
