Shipping
We ship with Royal Mail Tracked 24, which is a fully tracked 24-hour service.
Although delivery is usually next-day, it can occasionally take up to two working days — so please don’t worry if your parcel doesn’t arrive immediately.
You’ll receive tracking information directly from Royal Mail once your order has been scanned into their system — this often happens the evening after collection from us.

Dispatch Schedule
At the time of writing, our Royal Mail collections are on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 2 pm.
We always do our best to post orders as soon as they come in, but please bear in mind that we’re a very small, very busy team.
We kindly ask that you don’t call or email asking for orders to be rushed — it won’t speed things up! We promise we’ll get your order shipped as soon as we can.

Delivery & Tracking
All orders are fully tracked.
If you’ve ordered a knife, couriers are not permitted to leave parcels in a safe place or with a neighbour.
If you won’t be home, please feel free to use an alternative delivery address, for example your workplace.
Royal Mail will make at least two delivery attempts and will send you rescheduling links if you miss them.
Please also check your junk or spam folder, as delivery updates from us or Royal Mail sometimes land there.

UK Customers
If your order total is under £150, one of the following shipping rates will apply at checkout:
Non-Knife Orders – £4.99 flat rate
Knife Orders – £7.99 flat rate (age-verification service, legally required)
Orders over £150 qualify for free shipping.
If you prefer, you can also choose Pickup in Store at checkout.
Please note:
Under the Offensive Weapons Act 2019, all knives must be sent using an age-verification service. You’ll need to show a valid passport or driving licence upon delivery. The courier cannot leave your parcel unattended or with a neighbour.

International Customers
We are not currently shipping outside of the UK.

Packaging & Sustainability
We do our best to reduce waste and reuse packaging whenever possible.
All of our shipping materials — including tape and packing filler — are plastic-free, except in rare instances when we reuse bubble wrap that has been sent to us.
We encourage you to reuse or compost your packaging where possible, or recycle responsibly.

Returns
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase.
If for any reason you’re not, we’ll gladly refund or exchange your item.
As long as the item is unused, you’re welcome to initiate a return within our 30-day returns period.

How to Return an Item
Buyers are responsible for any return postage costs, unless the item is faulty or damaged.
If your purchase has arrived damaged or defective, please get in touch straight away with photos of the product and all of its packaging.
In these cases, Community Cutlery will cover postal costs, and we’ll refund or exchange your item in line with current consumer rights legislation.

Packaging Your Return
Please make sure your item is well wrapped, especially if it’s breakable — we can’t refund or replace items that are damaged in transit.
Ensure that items aren’t touching each other and that there’s plenty of padding between them and the sides of the box.
Once your return is received and checked over, we’ll issue your refund.
It should reach your account within 10 days of us receiving your parcel.
