K6 – Long, Clean Cuts

The K6 is the dedicated slicer in the K Series — long, slim and designed for uninterrupted cuts.

With a 225mm blade and narrow 24mm height, it moves cleanly through cooked meats, roasts and larger proteins with minimal drag. Thin behind the edge (approx. 0.20mm), it prioritises glide and presentation over weight.

Light for its size (88g), it feels agile in hand despite its length.

K Series – Performance Through Grind

Inspired by Japanese double bevel geometry, the K Series focuses on cutting efficiency and refined thinness.

Each blade is shaped using Windmühlenmesser’s traditional dry-fine grinding technique. This produces a razor-sharp edge and extremely thin cross-section, with a subtle concavity along the blade face to improve food release.

The effect is immediate — less resistance, cleaner slices, more control.

Robert Herder – Solingen Since 1872

Founded in 1872 in Solingen, Germany, Robert Herder remains family run and committed to traditional grinding methods.

Their knives are noticeably thinner and lighter than most Western equivalents. Performance comes from geometry and careful finishing rather than mass.

Steel – Stainless Monosteel

Constructed from stainless monosteel for reliable corrosion resistance and straightforward maintenance.

Ground thin and heat treated for edge stability, it delivers clean slicing performance without excessive upkeep.

Handle – Plumwood

Fitted with a plumwood handle — warm in tone, comfortable in hand and well balanced against the long blade.

Care

• Hand wash only.
• Dry thoroughly after use.
• Store safely in a block or on a magnetic rack.

And for many reasons — never put your knives in the dishwasher.

Age Restriction
Knives are only available to persons over 18 years of age. Due to the nature of our business, all customers will be required to verify their age at checkout.

We ship Tuesday to Saturday using Royal Mail Tracked 24.

All knives ship via an age verified service in accordance with The Offensive Weapons Act 2019, which will mean the postie will need you to be in to receive the delivery & to check your ID if you look under 25.

The law also requires us to carry out a soft age check of the purchaser after checkout, this is done by an automated system that usually doesn't require your input, although we will need to contact you for proof of age if you fail, which can sometimes happen if you use a work address.
