Keep your Niwaki tools razor-sharp with this professional-grade 1000-grit stone — the grit Japanese blacksmiths recommend for regular maintenance. If you’re only buying one stone, make it this one.

–––

Fine Grit for Everyday Sharpening
The #1000 surface is ideal for bringing back a keen edge on secateurs, topiary shears, clippers and other garden tools. It cuts quickly, refines smoothly and leaves blades sharp, clean and ready for work.

–––

Concave Edge for Curved Blades
Designed with a shallow concave side that fits neatly into the curve of many tool blades, making it easier to sharpen inside edges precisely and safely.

–––

Reliable, Simple, Effective
A straightforward, highly practical stone that brings tools back to life and keeps them in peak working condition.

We ship Tuesday to Saturday using Royal Mail Tracked 24.

All knives ship via an age verified service in accordance with The Offensive Weapons Act 2019, which will mean the postie will need you to be in to receive the delivery & to check your ID if you look under 25.

The law also requires us to carry out a soft age check of the purchaser after checkout, this is done by an automated system that usually doesn't require your input, although we will need to contact you for proof of age if you fail, which can sometimes happen if you use a work address.
