These are a great tool for box clipping, topiary and other jobs in the garden where double handed shears are too large or clumsy. Perfect for smaller hedges or box balls and for getting round awkward spaces, round the back and into gaps.

Hard-wearing, heavy-duty these clippers are forged in Northern Japan from high quality carbon steel. The yellow grips ensure they can be spotted in the garden or compost heap and they look great!

The tips cross over a bit when fully closed, to allow for years and years of use and sharpening.

Tip - New Shears and Clippers do tend to stick a bit at first. Clean them regularly and oil with Camellia Oil until they settle down.

Niwaki was born from a fascination and admiration for Japanese design and functionality. From one man's visit to Japan in the 90's sprang a desire to learn more about the beautiful gardens and trees and how they are cared for. After meeting his wife and many visits later his brother in law sent a few tools over from Japan for his own use. After much admiration from fellow gardeners and landscapers a business was born!

We ship Tuesday to Saturday using Royal Mail Tracked 24.

All knives ship via an age verified service in accordance with The Offensive Weapons Act 2019, which will mean the postie will need you to be in to receive the delivery & to check your ID if you look under 25.

The law also requires us to carry out a soft age check of the purchaser after checkout, this is done by an automated system that usually doesn't require your input, although we will need to contact you for proof of age if you fail, which can sometimes happen if you use a work address.
