Niwaki Tool Sharpening Stone – 220 Grit
A coarse, fast-cutting stone designed to bring very dull or damaged blades back into working order. Recommended by Japanese blacksmiths, it’s the first step for tools that need serious attention before moving to a finer grit.

–––

Coarse Grit for Restoring Blades
The #220 grit removes material quickly, reshaping and re-establishing an edge on secateurs, clippers, topiary shears and other hardworking garden tools. Ideal when your blades are rough, nicked or far past their best.

–––

Concave Side for Curved Edges
Includes a shallow concave surface that fits neatly into the inner curve of many tool blades, making it easier to reach tricky areas safely and effectively.

–––

A Proper Workshop Essential
Perfect as the first stage in a sharpening routine before progressing to a 1000-grit stone for refinement.

We ship Tuesday to Saturday using Royal Mail Tracked 24.

All knives ship via an age verified service in accordance with The Offensive Weapons Act 2019, which will mean the postie will need you to be in to receive the delivery & to check your ID if you look under 25.

The law also requires us to carry out a soft age check of the purchaser after checkout, this is done by an automated system that usually doesn't require your input, although we will need to contact you for proof of age if you fail, which can sometimes happen if you use a work address.
