Gestura – Flexi Bench Scraper

A bench scraper is as essential and versatile as a good spoon. Walk into any professional kitchen and you’ll find one at every cook’s station — usually bendy plastic or chunky wood.
Gestura set out to combine the flex of plastic with the heft and control of wood. The answer? Beautifully tempered spring steel paired with a perfectly balanced oak handle. There’s a subtle burr left on the steel for extra grip, and the handle edges are rounded for comfort — a small detail that makes a big difference in use. We’re genuinely excited about this one.

Form
Inspired by Japanese knives, the angular oak handle is lightweight yet secure in the hand. Slightly larger than standard, with softened corners and plenty of surface area for a confident, comfortable grip.

Materials
Japanese oak paired with heat-treated flex steel that bends and springs back into shape. No resins, glues or plastics — just two clean rivets and walnut-oiled wood.

Cleaning
Hand wash only. To preserve the wood’s patina, treat with walnut oil or cutting board oil regularly. As the wood is untreated by resins, dry metal-side down.

All knives ship via an age verified service in accordance with The Offensive Weapons Act 2019, which will mean the postie will need you to be in to receive the delivery & to check your ID if you look under 25.
The law also requires us to carry out a soft age check of the purchaser after checkout, this is done by an automated system that usually doesn't require your input, although we will need to contact you for proof of age if you fail, which can sometimes happen if you use a work address.
