Noda Horo Couleur Enamel Saucepan 14cm – 1.2L
A beautifully simple enamel saucepan from Noda Horo, made in Japan with a natural wooden handle and lid knob.
Part of Noda Horo’s Couleur series, this compact 1.2 litre saucepan is an excellent everyday size for smaller cooking jobs – warming sauces, making miso soup, cooking porridge, reheating leftovers or simmering smaller portions.
The enamelled steel construction is durable, easy to clean and doesn’t retain flavours or odours. Twin pouring spouts make it equally comfortable to pour from either side, whether you’re left or right handed.
Enamel Construction
Noda Horo cookware is made from steel coated with a smooth layer of glass enamel. The combination gives you the strength and responsiveness of steel with a non-reactive, easy-to-clean cooking surface.
Enamel is particularly useful for foods where you don’t want the cooking vessel to affect flavour or aroma, making this a great little pan for soups, sauces and everyday cooking.
The natural wooden handle and lid knob provide a warm contrast to the enamelled body and make the Couleur range particularly good-looking cookware to leave out in the kitchen.
Twin Pouring Spouts
A pouring spout on each side of the pan means it can be used comfortably with either hand. It’s a small detail, but a particularly useful one when pouring sauces, soups or liquids directly from the pan.
About Noda Horo
Noda Horo has specialised in enamelware since 1934 and remains one of Japan’s best-known manufacturers of enamel kitchenware.
Production is carried out at the company’s own factories in Tochigi, Japan, where steel forms are coated with glass enamel by skilled craftspeople. The resulting cookware combines the durability of steel with the smooth, hygienic and beautifully coloured surface of enamel.
