Wa Handles – Sakai Made
Our wa handles are crafted in Sakai, Japan, using solid oak or walnut. Lightweight, well balanced and octagonally shaped, they’re designed to complement Japanese blades both visually and in hand.
Handles can be supplied loose or professionally fitted in-house.
If fitting is required, please select the “with fitting” option when purchasing, you'll be charged for return postage at the same time. Once ordered, post your knife to us following the instructions in the Sharpening via Post section of the website, we’ll then get it fitted and back to you asap. Don't forget to put your name, email, phone number and return address in with your knife!
We ship Tuesday to Saturday using Royal Mail Tracked 24.
All knives ship via an age verified service in accordance with The Offensive Weapons Act 2019, which will mean the postie will need you to be in to receive the delivery & to check your ID if you look under 25.
The law also requires us to carry out a soft age check of the purchaser after checkout, this is done by an automated system that usually doesn't require your input, although we will need to contact you for proof of age if you fail, which can sometimes happen if you use a work address.
