Warikomi Construction – Strength & Sharpness Combined
Each head is forged using the warikomi method: a softer steel body is heated and split like a taco, allowing a high-carbon steel core to be inserted between the layers. The whole piece is then forged into a solid, unified axe head — delivering a hard, sharp cutting edge wrapped in softer cladding that absorbs shock and impact.

Scorched Japanese White Oak Handle
The handle is carved from Japanese white oak and finished using a traditional scorching process. This not only looks beautiful but also seals the wood, increasing durability and resistance to the elements.
