Sori Yanagi – Timeless Japanese Design
Born in Tokyo in 1915, Sori Yanagi studied both art and architecture before turning his focus to everyday objects. After World War II he designed everything from furniture and vehicles to pedestrian bridges and the 1964 Olympic cauldron — but it’s his kitchen tools that have become true design icons.
