Sori Yanagi – Timeless Japanese Design
Born in Tokyo in 1915, Sori Yanagi studied both art and architecture before shifting his focus toward everyday objects. After World War II he designed an extraordinary range of products — furniture, vehicles, bridges, even the 1964 Olympic cauldron — but it’s his stainless-steel kitchen tools that have become true design classics.
