We’re buzzing to have worked with Community Clothing on these Community Cutlery Aprons, made at their factory in Blackburn, Lancashire.
Community Clothing was founded by designer and Great British Sewing Bee judge Patrick Grant with a focus on making excellent-quality products while supporting skilled manufacturing and textile jobs here in the UK.
We’ve admired what they do for a long time, and we’re absolutely delighted with how these have turned out. The quality is superb – sturdy, beautifully made and exactly the sort of thing we wanted to use ourselves and stock in the shop.
Duck Canvas
Made from hard-wearing duck canvas, the apron feels really substantial without being cumbersome. It’s a tightly woven, durable fabric particularly well suited to something that’s going to be properly used, whether that’s in the kitchen, workshop or garden.
The aprons are available in Navy or Olive, both finished with contrasting Oatmeal strapping.
Design
We wanted to keep the design simple, practical and unfussy.
Neat, useful pockets give you somewhere to keep the bits and pieces you want close to hand without turning the front of the apron into a tool belt. The oatmeal strapping contrasts beautifully with both canvas colours and gives the whole thing a really clean finish.
The apron comes in one size, with adjustable straps to help get a comfortable fit.

We ship Tuesday to Saturday using Royal Mail Tracked 24.
All knives ship via an age verified service in accordance with The Offensive Weapons Act 2019, which will mean the postie will need you to be in to receive the delivery & to check your ID if you look under 25.
The law also requires us to carry out a soft age check of the purchaser after checkout, this is done by an automated system that usually doesn't require your input, although we will need to contact you for proof of age if you fail, which can sometimes happen if you use a work address.
