Gestura – Petite Stando Tweezers

The smaller sibling to Gestura’s original Stando, Petite Stando is their take on the offset plating tweezer — less clinical looking, with the same soft, streamlined feel.
At 8 inches long, Petite Stando is light, quick and precise, with sharpened pointed tips and carefully balanced tension. Designed for delicate tasks such as garnishing, plating and handling small ingredients, it gives you excellent control without feeling overly specialised.
Like the original Stando, the curved stand provides a comfortable area for finger placement and grip, while keeping the tips elevated from the work surface when not in use.
Each piece is stamped, etched and finished by hand at Mr. Ando’s workshop in Niigata, Japan.

Form
Petite Stando is shorter and more precise than the original 10-inch Stando. Where Stando has rounded tips and is designed as an everyday alternative to kitchen tongs, Petite Stando has pointed tips for more delicate work — ideal for garnishing, plating and handling small ingredients.

Handling
Petite Stando’s tips are sharp out of the box. If you would prefer them less sharp, a few passes on medium-grit sandpaper or something similar will soften the points.
We ship Tuesday to Saturday using Royal Mail Tracked 24.
All knives ship via an age verified service in accordance with The Offensive Weapons Act 2019, which will mean the postie will need you to be in to receive the delivery & to check your ID if you look under 25.
The law also requires us to carry out a soft age check of the purchaser after checkout, this is done by an automated system that usually doesn't require your input, although we will need to contact you for proof of age if you fail, which can sometimes happen if you use a work address.
