Made in Edinburgh by our friend Brett, these beautifully made bread lames are designed to hold a standard single-edge razor blade for scoring bread before baking.

Each lame is made in two sections, with a simple finger screw that securely clamps the razor blade in place. The blade is concealed within the handle when not in use and is quick and easy to replace when needed.

Made from stabilised wood in a range of colours and finishes, including turquoise, deep blue sea, purple, natural and dark brown, alongside a black carbon fibre version.

Each one is individually made, so the exact colour, pattern and dimensions will vary slightly from piece to piece.

We ship Tuesday to Saturday using Royal Mail Tracked 24.

All knives ship via an age verified service in accordance with The Offensive Weapons Act 2019, which will mean the postie will need you to be in to receive the delivery & to check your ID if you look under 25.

The law also requires us to carry out a soft age check of the purchaser after checkout, this is done by an automated system that usually doesn't require your input, although we will need to contact you for proof of age if you fail, which can sometimes happen if you use a work address.
