A small, beautifully straightforward mesh colander made in Japan by Kanai Kogyo.
Its compact size makes it particularly useful for everyday preparation jobs where a full-sized colander feels excessive: washing berries, rinsing a portion of vegetables, draining tofu, straining noodles or holding freshly washed herbs. The fine stainless steel mesh allows water to drain quickly while keeping smaller ingredients safely inside.
Raised feet keep the bottom of the colander clear of the sink or worktop, allowing water to continue draining without the contents sitting in it. Made entirely from durable 18-8 stainless steel, it is hygienic, resistant to rust and designed for years of regular kitchen use.
