Ceramic Grater Plate – Simple, Clean Grating

The Motoshige ceramic grater plate is a simple, effective tool for grating ginger, garlic, daikon, wasabi, citrus zest and other small ingredients directly at the table or during prep. The raised ceramic teeth break ingredients down into a fine paste or pulp, giving a cleaner texture than chopping and releasing plenty of aroma and flavour.

Easy to rinse clean after use. The shallow plate shape also helps catch the grated ingredient and juices, making it practical for dressings, dipping sauces, marinades and finishing dishes, use in conjunction with our Grater Brush for ease of use.

Why We Like It

This is one of those small kitchen tools that quickly earns its place. It is especially useful for ginger and garlic, where a fine paste blends more easily into sauces, soups and stir-fries. The ceramic teeth are sharp enough to work efficiently, while the plate format keeps everything contained and easy to use.

It is a compact, low-fuss tool for everyday cooking, and a good alternative to dragging out a box grater or microplane for very small jobs.

Care

Rinse after use and wash by hand with warm soapy water. Avoid knocking the ceramic teeth against hard surfaces, as they may chip if dropped or handled roughly.
