Design & Function
Inspired by traditional Japanese place settings, the knife features a distinctive folded handle that subtly lifts the blade when rested. This considered detail allows the knife to interact naturally with the table surface while adding visual balance and intention.

Karimoku Wooden Board
The accompanying board is made from sustainably sourced Japanese wood by Karimoku Furniture — Japan’s leading wooden furniture manufacturer, known for exceptional quality and advanced woodworking techniques. Each board is assembled from individually cut strips to recreate a natural grain pattern, making every set unique.

Materials
The butter knife is crafted from high corrosion-resistant Japanese stainless steel, offering durability and ease of care for everyday use. The knife and board are secured with a removable strap and presented with a poem expressing the design’s underlying themes.

All knives ship via an age verified service in accordance with The Offensive Weapons Act 2019, which will mean the postie will need you to be in to receive the delivery & to check your ID if you look under 25.
The law also requires us to carry out a soft age check of the purchaser after checkout, this is done by an automated system that usually doesn't require your input, although we will need to contact you for proof of age if you fail, which can sometimes happen if you use a work address.
