Sakai Kikumori – TS10 Nakiri 165mm, VG10 Stainless

Unlike other knives which almost always have a greater degree of curve at the belly, the straight Nakiri really enables you to make light work of anything you throw in front of it, from thinly slicing red cabbage, to dicing carrot, to mincing garlic to breaking down large root veg, the Nakiri is your friend when it comes to vegetable prep!

The TS10 is a super little range of knives from Sakai Kikumori, They've an all stainless construction, great for thoses who don't want the added responsibility of caring for carbon steel, are ground super thin for exceptional performance and they look spot on.

Nakiri – The Vegetable Knife
The nakiri is a traditional Japanese vegetable knife, recognisable by its straight edge and rectangular blade. Designed for clean, even cuts through vegetables and herbs, the nakiri excels at push-cutting, chopping, and slicing without rocking. Its tall profile provides knuckle clearance and stability through larger quantities of prep.

Stamped Tsuchime – Hammered Finish
Tsuchime means “hammered” in Japanese. This decorative and functional finish leaves shallow dimples across the blade that reduce drag and help prevent food from sticking. The stamped tsuchime of the TS10 range delivers a subtle textured sheen, combining performance with understated style.

All knives ship via an age verified service in accordance with The Offensive Weapons Act 2019, which will mean the postie will need you to be in to receive the delivery & to check your ID if you look under 25.

The law also requires us to carry out a soft age check of the purchaser after checkout, this is done by an automated system that usually doesn't require your input, although we will need to contact you for proof of age if you fail, which can sometimes happen if you use a work address.
